The Hyde Collection www.hydecollection.org Hours: Admission: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. The Hyde is handicapped accessible throughout all of the Museum. There are only two exceptions: the guest bedroom downstairs and Mrs. Hyde's bedroom upstairs - both in Hyde House.
The Museum is a product of the golden age of the private art collector (c. 1890-1940) and is an example of a rare genre of museums created during the American Renaissance. One of the few organizations of its kind in Upstate New York, The Hyde is part of the legacy of dedicated art collectors who acquired objects of artistic significance, amassed collections, and left them for the public to experience and enjoy within an environment created for their display. The Museum provides changing exhibitions in two gallery spaces, lectures, concerts, family activities and school programming. For detailed information visit www.hydecollection.org or call 518-792-1761. Exhibitions: Georgia O’Keeffe: Pattern of Leaves Robert Blackburn & Modern American Printmaking New Acquisitions On View |
