Francis Ramsey, is constructed of limestone and Tennessee Marble. The house has been called the “finest home in Tennessee”, and is furnished in period décor to reflect the life of Col. Ramsey and his family until 1820.

This historic house museum open to the public through guided tours. The site includes a Visitor Center that houses a museum shop, exhibits, and ticket sales. With over 100 acres, the site hosts picnic areas and heirloom gardens for guests to visit. Location rentals are also available for any event you can imagine! This beautiful property is ideal for weddings and receptions, reunions, garden parties, meetings, seminars and lectures, and our guided tours can accommodate both small and large groups.
