Admission is free Closed Dec. 25-Jan. 1; Thanksgiving; Memorial Day Arrowmont is dedicated to its mission of enriching lives through art. A cultural center to the region, Arrowmont’s one and two week workshops taught by top professionals in their field, attract students from across the United States and abroad. Workshops are held throughout the spring, summer and fall for adults in the medium of ceramics, metals, fibers, drawing/painting, glass, woodturning, woodworking, sculpture, paper and book arts, and photography. Community workshops are held for both children and adults throughout the fall and winter. Arrowmont also hosts national media conferences and a summer concert series Inspired by Appalachia. |
